Selena LU, theatre director, teacher, facilitator. Specialized in documentary theatre and collaborative practice. Trained with psychological imaginations (University of Cambridge), Selena uses theatre-making process as a means for profound self-discovery, community-healing, and all possibilities of real-time changes. Previous projects include: “Period Pain Monologues” (2015, Helsinki Festival); “The Way to Walden” (documentary series with former students of a bankrupt art college, 2015-18, Beijing); “Quiet” (documentary theatre with significant others of MH370 incident, 2016, Nanluoguxiang Festival); "Notime Gu or Notime Like Now" (Chinese New Writing, 2017, London); "The Greatest Event in a Doll's Life" (Shanghai, winner of Ibsen Scholarship, 2019)"; "R.I.P. papa" (verbatim theatre, SDAC-Lab, 2021).
